Day 2

Today started with 7 hours of hard heavy rain that made it difficult to see at times. So, it was a slow and steady day. After awhile your mind plays with you when the rain is seemingly endless. The sun did eventually come out for just a little. I took total advance of it!

Today rounded out to be a 33.83 mile day.
(Question got all my Garmin users. I have never had this problem before but I hit save activity. It confirmed that the activity was saved. I go look in activity history and it’s not there? What happen?

My favorite part of the day were the horses that kept running along the fence line and talking to me as the rain subsided.

Least favorite part besides the rain was the rolling hills the whole way and not a single place to stop for food or refill.

Another amazing note on the day is a huge storm with tornado possibilities is moving in and a complete stranger opened her sports complex building up for me! I had already found a pavilion and figured it would help but this was a blessing!

Off to Murray tomorrow!

  3. If your plan is Australia I will keep in touch and join you on the road for a while as I did with Tony Mangan. Michael Gillan

    1. Absolutely, after South America and Europe I’ll be there! Would love some company!
